Club Brugge haven’t responded to AC Milan’s offer and the pursuit of Ardon Jashari thus remains alive, contrary to other reports.
This morning, it was reported by Belgian journalists that Club Brugge had rejected Milan’s improved offer for Jashari. Furthermore, it was stated that Igli Tare’s words to the media regarding the offer had annoyed the Belgian side.
Granted that the offer wasn’t a massive improvement compared to the previous one, it’s still a lot of money at stake. However, it has been very quiet from Italian outlets/journalists on the matter, which seems to suggest that the matter remains alive.
Milan’s offer remains on the table
According to Andrea Longoni, as of 12:38 CEST, Club Brugge are yet to respond to Milan’s latest offer for the midfielder. In other words, the offer hasn’t been rejected (yet) and the Rossoneri’s pursuit of the player thus remains alive.
Having said that, it’s clear that Tare and Moncada will have to start looking at potential alternatives, with Brugge continuing to play hardball. The start of the season is fast approaching and with around €33m to spend, there are surely other players to consider.
