Mike Maignan’s form this season has been met with a bit of sadness, but with him being awarded the AC Milan MVP, it is worth looking at it alone.
It is understandable why Maignan’s form has been secondary this season. After all, good performances only remind you of what is potentially around the corner. Pessimistic, sure, but Milan have put themselves in that position.

Stepping back from that, though, and putting the blinkers on, you can see how instrumental the Frenchman is to the Scudetto campaign so far. He has won points single (or double) handedly, and the Rossoneri can dream of the title.
This month was perhaps his best ever, and it is not a surprise that he has won the club’s MVP of the Month award. To accompany it, the Diavolo have looked back at some of his biggest saves.
