Man City informed of Bernardo Silva transfer bombshell after contract decision

Bernardo Silva is out of contract at the Etihad Stadium this summer and is said to have made a decision over his future.

Bernardo Silva has reportedly told Manchester City that he will leave the club at the end of his contract this summer. The decision will bring to an end a nine-year career at the Etihad Stadium for the Portugal international.

Silva joined City from Monaco back in 2017. Portuguese outlet A Bola reports that he has 'informed' City of his decision and is already 'considering' the next step in his career, with the priority being to continue to play in Europe.

Clubs are already reported to be showing their interest, with Barcelona and Juventus 'leading the race'. Juve are reported to have already sent an offer of a three-year deal with of Salary of between €7 million and €8 million (£6-6.95 million).

The two clubs also face competition from Turkish side Galatasaray. Clubs from both Saudi Arabia and the United States are also reported to be showing an interest and are 'not giving up' on trying to convince the midfielder.
