Manchester City came from behind to beat Liverpool in dramatic circumstances at Anfield on Sunday. Dominik Szoboszlai's second-half set-piece from distance hammered in off the post to give the home team the lead. Bernardo Silva equalised for the Blues before Erling Haaland's stoppage time penalty won it for City.
City, despite their terrible record at Anfield, started well and dominated lots of the first half that saw boos ring round the ground. Haaland missed an early chance but City pressed well and unsettled Arne Slot's champions.
They were made to pay for not scoring when Liverpool upped the ante in the second half, even if the free-kick was a situation they could do little about, but they stuck at it and two late goals secured the win.
Here are the player ratings from the Manchester Evening News.

Donnarumma: Liverpool targeted him when he had the ball at his feet and from set-pieces. He did ok, and could do nothing for the goal. Made a huge late save to protect the lead. 7
Nunes: Worked his way up the pitch well in the first half and kept his side tidy throughout, saving his best for the end to win the penalty. 8
Khusanov: Excellent throughout, composed and alert to Liverpool's threats on the counter before an unfortunate collision forced him off. 8
Guehi: Outstanding. Made sure he was where he was supposed to be at all times, kept Mohamed Salah and Hugo Ekitike quiet and stopped a goalbound Florian Wirtz shot. 9
Ait-Nouri: Grew into the game to have one of his best games for City, marauding down the left and troubling Szoboszlai. 7
Rodri: He still isn't quite what he was but that is still more than most - especially his range of passing - and he is improving. 7
Silva: Generally he was excellent, linking well with Rodri and Nunes and bossing the team from midfield with a hard-earned equaliser. Too many of his set-pieces were poor though. 8
O'Reilly: Full of energy and effort, holding his own in a midfield tussle with Gravenberch and giving City options to the end. 7
Semenyo: Ended up in a tremendous battle with his old Bournemouth pal Milos Kerkez but he wasn't able to find any magic. 6
Marmoush: His running posed Liverpool a threat and he looked dangerous but he wasn't able to convert that in the box. 6
Haaland: He did plenty of good work for the team and battled up against Virgil van Dijk, and put the early miss behind him with the assist and late goal. 8
