Man City's place in the knockout rounds is guaranteed but still have a good chance of securing a top eight spot

Both teams still have a chance to progress to the last 16 but a victory for Manchester City could be enough to propel them into the top eight and secure automatic qualification for the knockout stages, while a win for Galatasaray would likely see them finish in the top 16 and earn a spot in the play-offs.
We’re predicting a narrow 1-0 win for Manchester City on Wednesday night, as Pep Guardiola’s side have already picked up four victories from their first seven group matches. However, it’s unlikely to be a straightforward evening for the hosts, who have lost two of their last three European fixtures and averaged just one goal per game during that run.
Galatasaray, meanwhile, are winless in their last three group games, conceding exactly one goal in each, with two of those matches ending in 1-0 defeats. Although the Turkish side have already claimed a win over Premier League opposition in Liverpool earlier this season, their promising start to the group stage appears to have faded.
We expect Manchester City to do just enough to get the result they need in this final round of group matches, but their performances will need to improve if they are to make a deep run in Europe’s premier club competition.
