Manchester City welcome Liverpool to the Etihad in the FA Cup quarter-finals with a trip to Wembley in the last four awaiting the winners
Manchester City take on Liverpool at the Etihad today in the FA Cup quarter-finalsHello and welcome to our live coverage of Manchester City's FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool.
Pep Guardiola's side return to action for the first time since winning the Carabao Cup at Wembley against Arsenal just under a fortnight ago. The Blues were 2-0 winners over Mikel Arteta's side thanks to Nico O'Reilly's second half double and now turn their attention to the other domestic knockout competition.
A win today against Arne Slot's side would book another Wembley trip and see Guardiola's men reach an eighth successive FA Cup semi-final. City will be favourites given the inconsistencies shown by Liverpool this term.
The Blues will be able to call upon Marc Guehi again after the defender missed the cup final win due to being cup tied, while Ruben Dias is expected to be involved after missing out at Wembley with a knock.
Kick off is 12.45pm and you can follow all the build-up, action, reaction and analysis with us right here so stay with us.

Wembley hunger
City should have that extra hunger for another trip to Wembley after how much they enjoyed the Carabao Cup final.
A disappointing March in the Premier League and the Champions League probably made the League Cup triumph over Arsenal even greater, as there was a danger of City's season fizzling out altogether before they put their struggles behind them to win the first trophy of the season.
Guardiola insisted before the final that silverware wouldn't anticipate the rise of his new team, but then said afterwards that it would.
Today is a prime opportunity to see if City can lift themselves closer to another trophy this season.
