Tottenham Hotspur have just learned what Man United are planning regarding their top midfield target this summer.
Spurs have some extremely talented, young midfielders in their squad, and they are reportedly looking to further add to it by securing the services of one of the most highly-rated number sixes in the Premier League.
As Spurs Web have relayed many times over recent months, it has been widely reported that Adam Wharton has been identified by Tottenham as their dream midfield target.
However, a couple of top clubs are ready to challenge Spurs for the Crystal Palace man, and another has now finalised their plans regarding the 21-year-old.

Man United set Tottenham target Adam Wharton as their top summer priority
Spurs will have to overcome competition from Man United to land Wharton, who, according to Sports Boom, has climbed to the top of the Red Devils’ wishlist.
The report says that United are ready to revamp their midfield this summer and are searching for a replacement for Casemiro.
They want a player with ‘youth, energy and tactical intelligence’, with Wharton said to ‘tick every box’ for the club.
The Manchester club have finalised the Palace star as their top target and are ready to launch a £50m -£60m swoop for the England international.
Spurs may have to kiss their chances of landing Wharton goodbye
It has been reported that Tottenham are reportedly plotting an ambitious summer rebuild of their squad if they stay up this season, which suggests that the club may be prepared to meet Palace’s asking price for Wharton.
However, it has been claimed by Pete O’Rourke that the Spurs midfield target wants to be playing Champions League football next season.
With Tottenham set to miss out on all European football next season, they may have to turn their attentions to more realistic midfield targets.
