Ruben Amorim's side return to Premier League action next weekend as Manchester United look to close the gap on the Champions League spots
Manchester United will reportedly have a major advantage over every other Premier League club when the international break comes to an end.
The Reds were held to a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in their last match before the international break last weekend. The stalemate leaves United in seventh place in the Premier League standings and ahead of reigning champions and bitter rivals Liverpool on goal difference.
Ruben Amorim and Co. will be determined to climb the Premier League table when they return after the international break, as they aim to secure a Champions League qualifying spot this term.
In fact, there is only one point separating United from fourth-placed Sunderland, as well as a four-point gap between themselves and Manchester City.

United will take on Everton (13th), Crystal Palace (10th), West Ham (18th), Wolves (20th) and Bournemouth (9th) across their next five fixtures. Liverpool are deemed to have the next easiest run, while City are 14th in the difficulty rankings.
