The full social media round-up in the aftermath of Chelsea's 5-1 Champions League victory against Ajax on Wednesday evening as Blues stars react to a memorable night

Chelsea cruised to a 5-1 victory over Ajax on Wednesday evening in their third Champions League league phase fixture of the season. After three matches, the Blues sit outside of the top eight, but only by goal difference while collecting six points against Bayern Munich, Benfica and Ajax.

Marc Guiu got the hosts going at Stamford Bridge, moments after Ajax's Kenneth Taylor was shown a straight red card. Moises Caicedo then doubled Chelsea's advantage with his long-range strike taking a big deflection, before Wout Weghorst halved the deficit for the Dutch side from the penalty spot after a mistimed challenge from Tosin Adarabioyo.

However, Chelsea restored their two-goal advantage not long after when Enzo Fernandez scored a penalty in front of the Shed End. Bizarrely, there was a third penalty in the first-half but this time, Fernandez handed the ball to Estevao Willian, who made no mistake from 12 yards.

Tyrique George scored the only goal of the second-half to wrap up the game for Chelsea, whose players have been reacting to the result on Instagram over the past hours.

Filip Jorgensen, who made just his second start of the season and his first appearance in the Champions League for Chelsea, was among those to take to social media post-match. Jorgensen wrote: "UCL NIGHT", alongside a blue love heart. Dario Essugo was among the many comments, saying: "Mi bro", while Guiu wrote "Broski".

"He's back," Caicedo wrote alongside a photo of him and Romeo Lavia, who has made back-to-back starts for Chelsea, on the Stamford Bridge pitch. Tosin, meanwhile, wrote, "Another step forward", alongside several photos of him in action against Ajax.

Wesley Fofana completed 90 minutes for just the second time this season. The Frenchman wrote: "+3", alongside a tick emoji on his Instagram page, with Jorrel Hato and Malo Gusto among those in the comments showing their support for the defender.

"So happy and fulfilled with the victory and for living this moment with our amazing fans. Truly thankful for all the love and support."

Facundo Buonanotte, who impressed in the No.10 role for the Blues, wrote on his Instagram: "Incredible night at home", alongside a blue love heart emoji. Jamie Gittens posted a several images of him at Stamford Bridge, including one with the Player of the Match trophy, and the winger received plenty of love in the comments from the likes of Joao Pedro, Caicedo, Tosin and Lavia.

Guiu, meanwhile, put a story on his social media page with the caption: "Keep pushing forward, thanks God".

Reggie Walsh, who made his Champions League debut at the age of 17, posted numerous photos of him in SW6. "UCL STAMFORD BRIDGE.. forever grateful. UTC," the caption read.

Chelsea legend John Terry was among those to comment on Walsh's post. The former Blues captain put the respect and blue love heart emojis underneath the teenager's photos.
