Marotta offers update on San Siro before expected signing: “We’re at the final chapter”

AC Milan and Inter are expected to sign the deed for the new San Siro in the next few days, and Beppe Marotta has stated that things are almost done.

It seems like, finally, after such a long wait, Milan and Inter will not only own their own home, but also have the chance to bring it up to the level of modern football.

San Siro is beautiful, and it will stand the test of time as one of the greatest stadiums ever. However, it has certainly seen better days, and with it no longer being seen as a viable option for European competitions, there is a need for an upgrade.

Final countdown

The new project will bring that. More importantly, though, it will allow both clubs to profit from the stadium and add an extra source of revenue to their accounts. A massive step towards being able to compete more in Europe.

Today, Beppe Marotta provided what may be the final pre-club ownership update on the stadium.

Are we ready for the San Siro deed?

“I think everything’s finished. Dr Ralph is taking care of it on our end. I think we’re at the final chapter,” he told TMW, via MilanNews.
