AC Milan are in a difficult position regarding Ismael Bennacer and his future at the club; time is certainly ticking away.
Yesterday evening, it was reported that Bologna had come forward seeking information about Bennacer and his future, and the report stated that Milan were ‘eager’ to get the Algerian sold. However, it seems the need is elevated.
The Bennacer issue
As Pietro Mazzara reports, via Milan Posts on X, the midfielder cannot play with the Futuro side, due to him being capped more than 50 times in Serie A. So, he either has to leave or he will be forced to watch from the reserves, just as Divock Origi has.

This does no good for anyone, especially not the Rossoneri, though. In yesterday’s report, it was claimed that he costs the club around €9 million per season, which is probably close to what European clubs would consider offering for his arrival.
Of course, earlier in the window a €20m bid was rejected by the midfielder, but a move to Saudi Arabia now, surely, looks a lot better than sitting doing nothing in a World Cup season. At this point, Mazzara states that the Diavolo ‘must find a solution’ before next week. A dangerous position to be in.
