Yet another report has claimed that Dodo and Fiorentina are at loggerheads regarding a renewal, and that AC Milan are interested in him.
On the right side last season, Emerson Royal, Kyle Walker and Alex Jimenez rotated, never finding stability. If for years the team was more unbalanced on the left, Milan could rebalance things from 2025-26 and beyond because they need two new starting full-backs.
Dodo an opportunity for Milan?
According to SportMediaset, Dodo’s future may lie far from Florence. The full-back, coming off an excellent season that ended with five assists in Serie A, is reportedly pushing to leave Fiorentina, and there’s no shortage of admirers.
The former Shakhtar Donetsk star arrived in Italy three years ago and still has two years left on his contract with Fiorentina. Negotiations for a renewal have essentially never gotten underway, with Fiorentina unwilling to accommodate Dodo’s demands.

La Viola are convinced they can convince the Brazilian to stay even without a renewal, but relations between the directors and the player are at an all-time low. So, the Brazilian would like to leave Fiorentina before the start of next season.
To satisfy the former Shakhtar player, around €25m would be needed, a figure that would satisfy Fiorentina but which no club currently appears willing to invest. Juventus are admirers Dodo, and is definitely on the radar of Roma and Milan, who are both looking for a right-back.
