Mikel Arteta faced the media after Arsenal’s clash with Port Vale in the League Cup.
The Arsenal manager would have preferred a more comfortable evening than what his side were dealt but the lower league opposition side gave a great account of themselves. An early goal from Eberechi Eze was thought to have opened the floodgates.
However, the Valiants rallied and it took until four minutes until the end of normal time for Leandro Trossard to put the game beyond all doubt. A great finish following a lovely spot from William Saliba.
