Mikel Arteta has provided the latest Arsenal injury news ahead of his side's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace

Mikel Arteta has revealed Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes has not trained with the rest of the squad in the last few days after picking up an injury in the 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid.

The Brazilian started the match against the La Liga side on Tuesday night and even scored and grabbed an assist. But he was subbed off in the 72nd minute and now Arteta has confirmed he picked up a knock.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Arteta said: "Yeah not much. Big Gabi had to leave the pitch with an issue and he hasn't been able to train yet. Let's see how he trains over the next 24 hours."

Asked for an update on the longer absentees, the Spaniard said: "All progressing really well, started to undertake some activities. But none of them in contention for the next week or so."
