Mikey Moore could end up playing Champions League football away from Tottenham

According to an update from Tottenham insider John Wenham, the interest in Mikey Moore is now growing, with more Champions League sides showing interest in signing the young attacker on loan.

Moore had a breakthrough season at Spurs last season, making 19 appearances for the Lilywhites across all competitions.

However, he saw his minutes dwindle in the final few months of last season, and some outlets have claimed over recent weeks that Tottenham could decide to loan out Moore this summer in search of regular game time.

It was reported by Alasdair Gold last week that Thomas Frank now faces a big decision on Moore after a host of clubs showed interest in signing the youngster on loan.

It appears that the decision has now been made, with Moore granted permission to miss Tottenham’s pre-season tour in order to explore a loan move.

Tottenham’s Mikey Moore is attracting interest from the Championship and Scotland

John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club’s youth sides on his social media handle, the Lilywhite Rose, has now confirmed that multiple Championship sides want to sign the Tottenham starlet in a temporary deal.

He further revealed that some Scottish giants are also ‘strongly pushing’ to land Moore, with the clubs trying to tempt the attacking midfielder by offering him Champions League football.

It was reported earlier this summer that Borussia Dortmund had also reached out to Moore about a summer transfer.

Borussia Dortmund want to sign Moore in a permanent deal

According to updates from Germany, Dortmund are willing to pay €18m (£15.6m) for Moore this summer, with the Bundesliga side hoping that the Spurs man will follow in the footsteps of Jamie Gittens.

However, it was made clear that while the German club are dreaming of a permanent deal, Thomas Frank’s side are only willing to loan out the teenager.

According to some sources, Moore is expected to sign a new contract at Tottenham when he turns 18 in August.
