Milan Futuro 0-1 Pavia: Seven-game unbeaten run ended in undeserved defeat

6 hours ago 2

Milan Futuro’s positive run in the league came to an end on Sunday as they were beaten by Pavia at the Chinetti Stadium in Solbiate Arno.

The Futuro got 2026 off to a flying start, thanks to three goals in 10 minutes from three different scorers as they beat AC Leon 3-0 away from home. Emanuele Sala, Mattia Cappelletti and Levis Asanji were the three scorers, and Massimo Oddo was full of praise after his side moved up into third.

However, things flipped on Sunday. Pavia got the win thanks to a goal from Poesio in the 43rd minute, just moments before the break. It was a harsh result for Oddo’s side, who created big chances through Domniței, Cappelletti and Asanji, but couldn’t convert them.

New signing Jacopo Sardo made his debut in the second half, having joined during the week from Monza. The Futuro’s next fixture is scheduled for next Sunday away to Chievo Verona, who are top of the table.
