Milan Futuro got another victory on the board in the league as they beat Oltrepò 2-1 at the Stadio Felice Chinetti in Solbiate Arno.

The Futuro returned to winning ways on Sunday afternoon as they got the better of Folgore Caratese in a five-goal thriller, edging it 3-2 in the end. However, their Coppa Italia Serie D journey came to an end on Wednesday evening, losing 2-3 to Varesina.

The Rossoneri got off to a great start, taking the lead in the seventh minute with a free kick from Victor Eletu . From a tight angle on the right, the midfielder found the near post with his left foot, surprising Fossati.

The Futuro pushed on and looked to double their lead, which they came close to doing in the 17th minute. After some great play down the wing, Cappelletti sent a low cross for Sia to run in at the near post, but the No.10 sent the ball wide.

Oddo’s men were in control in the second half as well. Another huge chance came in the 64th minute with Sala: Chaka Traore cut back on his right foot and fired, but the shot was parried by the number 4 who, from wide and with an open goal, fired into the side-netting.

Like a bolt from the blue, Oltrepò equalised in the 77th minute with their first chance of the match. The defence was breached down the middle, which will frustrate Massimo Oddi, and Franceschinis beat Bouyer to level.

The reaction was immediate, and Milan regained the lead in the 84th minute. Chaka Traorè played the ball into the middle for Sia, who turned and fired home, thanks in part to a deflection off Sala, for a goal that would secure three points.
