This evening, AC Milan lost against Sassuolo by two goals to one in a well-fought clash at the Sportitalia Village.
After a win last week, Milan were hoping to continue their start to the season. However, they were not able to, being beaten by the Neroverdi.
Match report
The opposition started as the better of the two sides, having the first real chance of the game. Though they could not make the most of their first chance of the game. It did not take long for another to come along, unfortunately.
After some back and forth, the visitors took the lead through Kulla, who capitalised on a defensive mishap from the young Rossoneri side. His shot, as poor as it may have been, was also not saved by Longoni, unfortunately.
It continued to be a lot of Neroverdi domination for the rest of the half, with the odd chance coming in the hosts’ favour. However, on the stroke of half-time, Kulla got his second of the game, making it difficult for Milan to get back into the game.
The second half, for the most part, was rather bland, with neither team offering much, really. However, in the 90th minute, the Diavolo pulled one back thanks to a cool penalty from Simone Lontani.
In the final minutes, it could have been a level game. However, Domnitei was not able to take the chance to level the game.
