Milan Primavera secured a big win on Tuesday afternoon as they scored a goal in each half to beat Parma 2-0 at home.
The Primavera got another point on the board on Friday afternoon as they came from behind to draw with Hellas Verona 1-1. Filippo Scotti was the man of the moment again as he levelled things early in the second half, and it was a good response after the derby defeat, but Giovanni Renna’s side remained in the bottom half.
However, things would change this afternoon as the Rossoneri put in near-complete performance against a side that went into the game in second place in the standings.
It was a strong first half for Renna’s side, who took a 1-0 lead thanks to Zukic’s goal. A great corner kick from Pandolfi found the centre-back with a precise cross, and he converted from close range.
Just five minutes into the second half, the lead was doubled. Great play by Filippo Scotti made it 2-0 as the Rossoneri captain did a brilliant job of beating Conde and then Casentini with a toe-poke finish.
The win means that Milan move onto 22 points from 16 games with five wins, seven draws and four defeats being their record.
