MilanVibes: Dinamo Zagreb ‘testing the waters’ of Modric return in the summer

6 days ago 15

There is a chance that Luka Modric leaves AC Milan in the summer, and Dinamo Zagreb may try to make a move for the Croatian legend.

With Modric’s future, Milan hold a bit of priority. After all, there is the option of another year in Milano within his contract. However, that is not a guarantee, and the decision will almost fully be in the midfielder’s hands.

A lot has been said about the World Cup and what effect it will have, but there will also be questions about the Rossoneri and their goals for the future. After all, he arrived to win trophies, not just to play football at an elite level.

Modric to return home?

Interest has already been present from Saudi Arabia, and it presumably is still there. However, there are other avenues that could be explored if he does not extend his stay.

As Pietro Balzano Prota writes, on behalf of MilanVibes, Dinamo Zagreb have begun to test the waters about a return for him in the summer. The extent of these evaluations is a little unclear, but a chance to return to Croatia may appeal to him, if he is ready to slow down.

Modric signs

A decision will not be made any time soon, so it will just be a case of making assessments until then.
