As the January mercato rolls around, AC Milan have a chance to attack the season, or stay as they are. A decision must be made.

There is something interesting about the upcoming mercato. Milan have a chance to further their bid for the Scudetto, and it would include placing bids for players to strengthen the team. Alternatively, they could keep the plans to invest in the summer.

A striker, another defender and a wide midfielder would be ideal. Players with experience, perhaps from Serie A, would tick several boxes, especially if they can help deliver a few points here and there. At the end of the season, it may help bring the Scudetto back to San Siro.

From the end of January, perhaps, we will have the full view of what the Rossoneri’s ambitions under RedBird are. It could present a golden opportunity, and whether the Diavolo take it or not, the outcome will be telling.
