MN: Colombo leaves Milan Asia camp early to finalise exit – the latest

2 weeks ago 54

It has been reported that Lorenzo Colombo has travelled back to Italy to finalise a move away from AC Milan today.

The exit of Colombo has increased massively in probability in the past week, with Genoa going from interested to active very quickly. Then, at the end of the week, an offer was made with all parties agreeing on the terms.

Reports state that he will leave initially on loan; however, it could become a permanent move. An option is included in the deal, though it will become mandatory depending on certain clauses being met.

Back to Italy

So, with everyone agreeing to the deal, MilanNews reports that the striker left the Milan camp in Asia yesterday, whilst the team were in Hong Kong. The reasoning? To head back to Italy to sign his contract with his new club, as well as conduct a medical.

Considering he has been given the clearance to leave the camp and travel, there is surely no way that this deal does not go through. Another new chance for Colombo to shine under similar conditions. If it goes well, the Rossoneri could pocket around €10 million from the clauses in his deal. A pretty penny, indeed.
