Finally, some good news for AC Milan. Curva Sud have announced that they will return to chanting and singing during tonight’s game against Lecce, bringing banners and flags as well.
For the games against Bari (Coppa Italia) and Cremonese, both played at San Siro, the atmosphere was rather strange as Curva Sud were completely silent. It all boils down to their protests against the club’s latest measures on ultras, which we discussed in a long read earlier this week.
Without a doubt, it affected the performance on the pitch and fans, as well as journalists, have urged Milan to reach a compromise with the Curva Sud. Something is clearly moving in the right direction, as the Curva Sud have announced that they will be chanting tonight.
Back with a bang
As relayed by Antonio Vitiello and MilanNews, the Curva Sud have decided to chant and sign for the team at Via del Mare tonight. They will also have banners and flags with them, so it will be the Curva in full force from start to finish.

It remains to be seen why the decision was made, as that hasn’t been made clear yet, but the fact it’s an away game perhaps helped. After all, it’s tougher for Milan to ban flags and banners for an away game, but we should avoid speculation in that sense.
