MN: Double session scheduled at Milanello – Saelemaekers continues solo work

The AC Milan squad were back in training at Milanello on Wednesday, and today their preparations ramped up for the Roma game.

Yesterday’s news from the training ground was all centred around the surprise presence of Gerry Cardinale, who met with the head coach Massimiliano Allegri and the players, conveying his praise for their efforts so far and confidence for the rest of 2025-26.

According to MilanNews, Milan will have a double training session today at Milanello today. This morning, the Rossoneri squad – who are preparing for Sunday night’s big match away in Rome – worked in the gym. From 15:30 CET they will train on one of the pitches at the training ground in Carnage.

Alexis Saelemaekers is still dealing with an adductor strain that he sustained in the last match against Lecce at San Siro on Sunday, which forced him off early. He will continue his individual work this afternoon, and therefore remains a serious doubt for the trip to the capital.

Everything will depend on training tomorrow and Saturday. If he returns to working with the rest of the group in the next 48 hours, he will be called up by Allegri. Otherwise he will be forced to watch the game against his former side from the stands.
