MN: Estupinan follows personalised plan ahead of returning to group training

AC Milan are expecting Pervis Estupinan to be fit this weekend, after being given assurances by the defender himself this week.

There were small concerns about Estupinan’s chances of playing this weekend, after he missed the Argentina game with a muscle issue. However, it was deemed to be a case of resting, rather than aggravating it.

Of course, the fact that a few games into the season, he is suffering is not great. Though if the Rossoneri can manage him well, the worries will quickly be alleviated. It is possible that it was just a case of fatigue, though.

Either way, the left-back told Milan that he was fine, and worries were quickly lessened. However, he still came back to Milanello with tests scheduled to determine what the issue was.

As MilanNews reports, this is not the only way that the club are reintegrating him into training.

Alongside Christian Pulisic and Santiago Gimenez, who have both been half the world away, the defender has taken part in an individual plan, just to shake any jet lag, whilst assessments over his status after the break also took place, as is standard, really.

Then, this afternoon, the Ecuadorian will return to training with his teammates. In other words, nothing to be concerned about, it seems.
