MN: Leao ‘fights, creates and scores’ – how Milan now have new problems

The issue of the last international break was Rafael Leao, and how AC Milan would unlock the Portuguese’s best levels. Now, it is about how to get the other side working. 

During the last break from club football, questions were being asked about Leao, his ability to play as a striker and his ability to play at all. In fact, reports even suggested that he could have lost his position in the team.

Since he has come back, the forward has been excellent, leading the Rossoneri forward by himself. However, this is where a new issue emerges.

Now what?

As MilanNews write, the Portuguese star has finally got his ‘attitude right’. He scores, he sacrifices, and he works for the team. It is what several managers have tried to get from him, and now, the results can be seen.

Unfortunately, though, he is by himself. Santiago Gimenez and Christopher Nkunku have not contributed the required performances (or even just anything, really). So, Leao is alone, and he needs assistance, which he could receive after the break.

At present, the talk of a new striker arriving soon is the real focus, and several names are swirling. It may not need to be massively complicated, though, if they can link with Rafa and score, Milan should be onto a winner.
