MN: Milan in constant contact with Almeria through Tare – why a push is being made

AC Milan want to get their business done soon, and this is why talks have been ramped up with Almeria.

There are a few additions needed as soon as possible. Earlier this week, it was reported that Massimiliano Allegri is considering using Tommaso Pobega and Alexis Saelemaekers as full-backs in pre-season.

Not because of a tactical masterstroke. Rather, because there is no one else who can fill those roles. In other words, Milan need to get busy quickly, to get the additions up to speed.

This week, Wolverhampton Wanderers have heated up their pursuit of Marc Pubill, who is one of the leading options for the Rossoneri. So, MilanNews report that the Diavolo have also begun to intensify contacts.

According to their report, Igli Tare is in ‘constant contact’ with Almeria about the defender – who has the approval from Allegri – hoping to seal a deal shortly. An existing relationship with Fali Ramadani, the player’s agent, could also help negotiations.

Milan, as is suggested, want to wrap the deal up by the end of this week, which is definitely possible. Doing so would ensure that he joins the team for the pre-season tour in Asia and Australia, which would be a huge help for Allegri.
