Ahead of the Coppa Italia clash against Bari this weekend, AC Milan will know their possible next test before kick-off.
Milan will have to wait until Sunday evening to get their season officially up and running. However, other Italian teams are restarting the year tonight, with the first set of Coppa Italia games starting.
Whilst this would not normally matter, the Rossoneri will have an eye on the proceedings as Lecce are facing Juve Stabia at 20:45, as MilanNews relays. Whoever wins will progress to the second round and await the outcome of the Diavolo’s game against Bari.
Of course, they will also have an eye on the game to see if Francesco Camarda plays and how he manages.
Does it matter?
Given the distance between the two fixtures, it will not make much difference to preparation, whoever wins. However, there could be a rethink if Allegri was planning on giving certain players a run of games.
Lecce, obviously, would be a better opportunity for those who doubts are present for over their Serie A ability. However, if the Rossoneri want an easier run, with respect, then a game against Juve Stabia will be preferred.

Regardless of the result and the team waiting next, the Rossoneri will be expected to progress far into the competition, given how they fell at the final hurdle last season.
