On Wednesday morning, AC Milan announced the renewal of its partnership with Emirates via a new five-year contract.

As MilanNews reports, this new agreement further strengthens the relationship between the club and the Dubai-based airline, which became a partner of Milan all the way back in 2007 and has been the main shirt sponsor since the 2010-11 season.

As might be expected in situations like these, the parties have put in writing what they had agreed upon at a Dubai meeting back in March, when the specifics of the new partnership figures were discussed.

The new deal is estimated to bring a 20% increase on the fixed base, which would bring in approximately €35m annually to Milan’s accounts. As a result, La Gazzetta dello Sport report that from 2026-27 the Diavolo will have the most valuable shirt in Serie A, in terms of all sponsorship deals.

In exchange, the airline will continue to be the main sponsor on the shirts of the men’s first team, Milan Futuro, Milan Primavera and the entire male youth sector. The women’s department is sponsored by Banco BPM, and will remain so.

Furthermore, the shareholders’ meeting is expected to be held in the coming weeks to present the financial report for the 2024-25 season, which closed with a profit of €3m and was approved by the Board of Directors on Monday.

At that meeting, further details will also be provided regarding the increase in revenue, which reached €495m. Other questions will be asked and topics discussed regarding various specifics in the accounts, and it is possible that the Emirates deal will be part of that.
