The big game between AC Milan and Napoli at San Siro is just 24 hours away, and Massimiliano Allegri has settled on his team.
The build-up to the game has been full of good news for Milan, from the return of Rafael Leao to the goals that Santiago Gimenez and Christopher Nkunku scored in midweek. Meanwhile, Napoli approach the match in good form, but with a defensive injury crisis to contend with.
Predicted Milan vs. Napoli
According to MilanNews, Allegri is expected to name the same line-up that started the match away to Udinese a week ago. This means Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic in defence, ahead of Mike Maignan.
Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot keep their places in the midfield and are joined by Youssouf Fofana, with Alexis Saelemaekers and Pervis Estupinan flanking them on either side. Santiago Gimenez and Christian Pulisic will lead the line.
Just under 40 days after his injury against Bari in the Coppa Italia, Rafael Leao has returned to training with the team. The Portuguese will be available to Allegri but will start on the bench, as will Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Samuele Ricci and Christopher Nkunku among others.
Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Estupinan; Gimenez, Pulisic.
