Massimiliano Allegri has chosen the starting line-up that he will field on Saturday night against Udinese.
According to MilanNews, intense work has been underway today at Milanello ahead of Saturday evening’s match at the Bluenergy Stadium against Udine. It’s a tough away trip for the Rossoneri, as they will face an opponent that are higher in the table after getting seven points in three games.
Strahinja Pavlovic has recovered after coming off with a flexor issue in the Bologna win, so should start. Mike Maignan is feeling better but is targeting Lecce, while Rafael Leao is aiming for the Napoli game in just over one week.
There will therefore be a change in goal as Pietro Terriacciano stands in for the injured Maignan. Fikayo Tomori and Matteo Gabbia – who should be the captain – are expected to complete the rearguard, with Pavlovic.
The midfield trio should consist of Youssouf Fofana, Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot. Alexis Saelemaekers and Pervis Estupinan will be the wing-backs. Santiago Gimenez and Christian Pulisic are expected to lead the line with Christopher Nkunku remaining as an option off the bench.
Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Terracciano; Tomori, Gabbia, De Winter; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Estupinan; Gimenez, Pulisic.
