MN: Predicted Milan XI vs. Hellas Verona – Allegri moves back to starters

1 hour ago 28

This weekend, Massimiliano Allegri will not have many changes available to him when his AC Milan side take on Hellas Verona.

The loss against Napoli a week ago has certainly not had a major effect on anyone. After all, it has given Allegri a chance to rest his team for another week, allowing them all the chance to take a break from a busy December schedule.

Saying that, his team must make the most of this opportunity. With two losses in their last four games, they have been lucky to slip in the cup competitions, meaning their Serie A record is still intact, but hopes of a Scudetto could slip if they drop points once more.

Possible Milan XI for Verona clash

As MilanNews reports, there are two changes in the pipeline, it seems. Luka Modric will return to the starting XI in place of Ardon Jashari. This has allowed him a chance to rest, which was certainly needed with him playing as many minutes this season.

Additionally, Davide Bartesaghi will come back into the team after being replaced by Pervis Estupinan for the Supercoppa Italiana game against Napoli.

Barring that, Allegri is expected to name an unchanged team back at San Siro.

Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Loftus-Cheek, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Nkunku, Pulisic.
