MN: Reliant on another – Milan ‘willing’ to pay €15m for Fabbian if Musah leaves

Despite the midfield being added to already this summer, AC Milan are considering whether to make another purchase. 

After a meeting at Casa Milan yesterday, Milan want to add three new signings in the dying stages of the window. However, it could well be more; it depends on the availability of certain players. Whilst the movement of their own talent will have an impact.

A new idea

It seems like this will be the case for Giovanni Fabbian, who has emerged as a new idea for the Rossoneri in the past few hours. This morning, it was reported that contact was underway, with an offer possible.

Now, MilanNews have learnt a little more, with the Diavolo ready to invest €15 million into the midfielder, of which €12-13m would be a ‘fixed term contract’; negotiations are ongoing. However, it is dependent on the future of another.

Rather than him adding to the midfield, he would arrive as a replacement for another. Fabbian, as it stands, would only arrive if Yunus Musah were to head elsewhere, and there is a growing chance of this with Atalanta ‘ready’ to make another offer for the American.

Then, and only then, would Milan make their swoop for Fabbian.
