After ‘Modric mania’ gripped Milan on Monday, Wednesday is very much Ardon Jashari’s day as he will soon be announced as a new signing.
The Jashari negotiations ended up lasting for over two months, and at many different points it seemed as though it was close to conclusion, just as it also felt in various moments that Milan would walk away.
However, it will have its happy ending, as the player hoped for all along. On Tuesday evening, Fabrizio Romano gave the ‘here we go’ stamp on what will be a €39m operation between Milan and Club Brugge, and it could become a record sale for the Belgian side.
Shirt number chosen
MilanNews reports that after this morning’s medical, Jashari will be at Casa Milan to sign his five-year contract with the Rossoneri and after that he will not go back to his hotel.
Instead, he will travel to Milanello for his first training session with his new team-mates and new coach Massimiliano Allegri, which will begin at 18:00 CEST.
It has also been confirmed that the Swiss international will wear the Rossoneri number 30 shirt, which is what he has warn since he joined Club Brugge two years ago.
