The AC Milan squad were back in training on Wednesday at Milanello, and news has arrived on some of the injured players.
After the day off yesterday granted by Massimiliano Allegri following the victory away against Torino, the players returned to work today at Milanello to prepare for the match at San Siro on Sunday 14th against newly-promoted Sassuolo.
The Neroverdi will not be an easy opponent for Milan even disregarding their previous status as a bogey side. The team managed by Fabio Grosso are in the top half of the table and have adapted well after promotion.

Leao worked in the gym today, continuing his physiotherapy program, as agreed upon with the medical staff. Santiago Gimenez was back on the pitch: he trained separately but has started running again, so his the program to get him back up to speed has begun.
There is good news for Zachary Athekame, who is getting closer to returning to full training, while Youssouf Fofana also completed an individual session today.
