Today is a first for Adrien Rabiot, at least where AC Milan are concerned. Due to the international break, he has really only just signed.
When a player moves to a new club, they are normally on a plane and on the way to the new location within a few hours, if that. However, that was not the case with Rabiot. In fact, he completed a medical in France, whilst Dider Deschamps told the media about his imminent move.
With the international break beginning, he did not travel to Italy during the break, considering his duties internationally. So, now is the first time that he can get back to his new home.
Rabiot’s big day
So, this morning, he arrived at Malpensa airport and greeted the media quickly, offering a few words, whilst his mother Veronique also shared her opinion on the move.
Following that, he headed to Milanello to do a few fitness tests, ahead of a training session taking place this afternoon. There are no fears about his inclusion, so he is being thrown into the deep end. However, he is no stranger to the routine of professional football and expectations.
Whether he will feature this weekend is another thing; we will have to see. However, he will speak to the media tomorrow.
