Mohamed Salah said that "everything will be fine" for Liverpool after the Reds returned to winning ways in the Premier League against Aston Villa.
Liverpool went into Saturday's game against Villa having lost four league games in a row, and a defeat would have piled the pressure on the team ahead of games against Real Madrid and Manchester City over the next few days.
Goals from Salah and Ryan Gravenberch in either half secured three points against one of the top flight's in-form teams, and Salah said after the game that he has no concerns over where Liverpool is currently at.
"It's very important [to get the win today], we've had a few losses in the Premier League and Champions League," Salah said. "I'm glad we are back on track now, and it's a big push before some important games.
"It's a very tricky season for us because we have a few new players, they are very good players but they need time to adapt. We lost some players too. It takes time to adapt and know each other's games, but everything will be fine."
Salah's goal first-half strike moved him onto 250 goals for the Reds — a landmark only previously reached by Ian Rush and Roger Hunt.
"It's a great feeling to score goals for such a big club," the Egyptian said. "It's something I don't take for granted, I'm so proud and happy about that achievement."
Liverpool's clean sheet against Villa was the first one the Reds have kept since the win over Burnley on September 14, and only the third in all competitions since the season began.
Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk was happy to record a rare shutout on a night when Slot reverted to a more familiar back line.
Conor Bradley lined up at right-back, while Andy Robertson started a league game for the first time since May, with Milos Kerkez taken out of the firing line following a shaky start to his Liverpool career.
"Winning always feels good, keeping a clean sheet after forever felt good as well," Van Dijk said. "But it's only a win, now it's about recovering and focusing on the next one.
"In possession we were good, we found the spare man. We decided they would press with two strikers, so our number six would be free at times if we played the ball quickly enough.
"We had good runs in behind, opportunities to score goals, and the defending as a team was good. That made a difference."
