Nicolas Burdisso has commented on the rumours linking Adriano Galliani with a return to AC Milan, giving little away.

The reasons? Monza themselves are now in the process of being bought by a US-based hedge fund, as per reports. They will probably look to bring in new leadership, and the door at Milan is open given that the Director of Football role is one they apparently want to fill.

Who better to ask than Monza’s sporting director, Nicolas Burdisso? He spoke to reporters just before the Biancorossi’s friendly against Atalanta, and MilanPress have relayed his comments, though he didn’t give an awful lot away.

“We speak often with Dr. Galliani because obviously, during this period, we need to maintain a connection and a fluid conversation,” he said.

“AC Milan? I can’t say anything about this, I can only say that we’re working very well together, especially in terms of what we want to bring and what they’ve built in recent years.”
