Moretto: Decisive day for Musah to Atalanta as Milan will let Allegri decide

AC Milan have reached an agreement with Atalanta for Yunus Musah’s transfer but as highlighted by Matteo Moretto, Massimiliano Allegri has been given the final say.

During his pre-match interview last night, Milan’s sporting director Igli Tare confirmed that the Rossoneri have an agreement with Atalanta for Musah. However, he also made it clear that they haven’t made a final decision yet, expected to arrive today.

Musah played the entire game last night and did okay, playing out of position in a right wing-back role. Today, we will find out if that was his last game for the Rossoneri, or at least the last one in a while as an initial loan is on the cards.

Allegri must decide

According to Matteo Moretto in his latest video with Fabrizio Romano, today will be the decisive day for Musah’s move to Atalanta. The Bergamo side have an agreement with Milan for a paid loan with an option to buy, which could turn into an obligation.

Only Allegri’s go-ahead is missing for the deal to be completed, and the head coach should make his decision today. It remains to be seen whether the option could easily turn into an obligation or not, as Milan would need to renew Musah’s contract if the conditions are difficult.

In any case, more details should surface in the coming hours as Allegri makes his decision on the American.
