Breel Embolo and his agents are pushing hard for a move to AC Milan, according to a report, but the Rossoneri remain focused on securing their No.1 target: Rasmus Hojlund.
The striker pursuit is still at the top of Milan’s agenda and after having been linked with many names, it seems Manchester United’s Hojlund has been identified as the main target. However, getting the negotiations over the line isn’t exactly an easy task
According to the latest from Matteo Moretto, Milan are very keen on securing the Dane and new contacts will be held in the coming weeks. The problem remains the formula of the transfer, which the Rossoneri wants to be a loan with an option to buy.
Keep an eye on alternatives
As the journalist continues, since there are no guarantees that Milan will sign Hojlund, an eye must be kept on potential alternatives. Breel Embolo has been mentioned in the last few days and while it’s true that his agents are insisting on the move, the Rossoneri haven’t entertained the idea yet.

Of course, this could change if the Hojlund negotiations were to go south. Embolo has ruptured his relationship with Monaco and a transfer is almost certain before the window closes, it’s just a question of where he will go.
It’s likely that other solutions will be offered to Milan too, as we get closer to the end of the transfer window.
