The feeling is that Adriano Galliani will still return to AC Milan despite reports to the contrary, according to Matteo Moretto.
For weeks there has been speculation about the idea of Galliani leaving Monza once their sale to a US fund is completed, and returning to Milan. It is of course the club he spent over three decades at in the Silvio Berlusconi era, winning 29 trophies in 31 years.
However, a report yesterday from Pietro Balzano Prota suggested that the return is at risk. Without going into specifics regarding what might have gone wrong, it was simply stated that at present ‘Il Condor’ is unlikely to undertake a second spell with the Rossoneri.
‘The plan hasn’t changed’
Matteo Moretto though spoke on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel and he gave a far more positive update on things, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.

“There’s a lot of talk about Galliani’s possible return to Milan. There was a handshake in the summer, a verbal promise. I’m reiterating today, September 16th, that they’ve confirmed that the plan is for Adriano Galliani to return to Milan,” he said.
“The signals I’m receiving are extremely positive; Galliani himself believes all the necessary paperwork is in place for him to return. We’ll find out when the Monza deal closes, which is delayed.
“It will happen in the next few days, in the next few weeks. Then, it’s expected – I expect – that Adriano Galliani will return to AC Milan. The plan hasn’t changed.”
