AC Milan are confident that they will be able to strike a deal with Brighton to sign defender Pervis Estupinan this summer, reports claim.
A number of different targets have been linked as Theo Hernandez’s replacement, from Miguel Gutierrez to Oleksandr Zinchenko. However, reports over the past few days have suggested that Estupinan is the name that Igli Tare and co. have settled on.
Confidence grows for Estupinan
According to the latest from Matteo Moretto, Brighton have rejected Milan’s initial offer for Estupiñán, but the Rossoneri are confident of reaching an agreement worth around €20m for the Ecuador international.
Moreover, Milan have reached a total agreement on contractual terms with the 27-year-old defender. After the initial offer was turned down, the management are ready to increase their bid in order to try get the deal over the line.

Estupinan joined Brighton in the summer of 2022 from Villarreal and has impressed for large parts of his spell with the Premier League club. He has made 48 appearances for his country too, scoring four goals.
