Moretto: Milan and Lecce worried about ‘serious’ Camarda issue – the situation

There is some worry both within the ranks of Lecce and AC Milan regarding Francesco Camarda’s shoulder, it has been revealed.

Milan made the decision in the summer to send Camarda on loan to Lecce, hoping he would start games regularly and also score his first few Serie A goals. However, it has been a mixed bag so far, as he is struggling a bit for minutes more recently despite getting off the mark in the league.

During a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto took stock of the condition of Camarda, who missed today’s match between Lecce and Parma due to a physical problem.

“A shoulder problem, but it’s serious and will need to be evaluated in the next few days. Milan is aware of this situation, so we’ll see how it develops in the next few days. However, I can tell you that there’s a bit of concern regarding Camarda’s shoulder, and Milan are already aware of this.”

Di Francesco’s words

Lecce boss Eusebio Di Francesco himself revealed the extent of Camarda’s physical problem when he spoke to DAZN before Lecce-Parma, explaining why he didn’t even put him on the bench.

“He had a shoulder problem. He was in pain and couldn’t run. The boy was in pain, and we’ll have to monitor him,” he said.

Camarda had initially been called up by Lecce for the match against Parma. The Apulian side only released the list of available players this morning, and the striker’s name was included. Then, at the last minute, he was withdrawn.
