Moretto: Milan could show Futuro director Kirovski the door – “Absolutely at a standstill”

Jovan Kirovski, the director of Milan Futuro, could be shown the door by AC Milan as the contract renewal talks have stalled completely. 

Kirosvki was brought in to manage the Milan Futuro project in the summer of 2024, with his friend Zlatana Ibrahimovic advocating on his behalf. As the first season ended in a massive failure with the relegation to Serie D, however, it has been an uphill battle for Kirovski.

Fairly recently, the 49-year-old spoke to the club’s official channel and at least showed that he has practised his Italian, carrying out the entire interview in the language. His tenure at the club could soon come to an end, though.

Renewal talks going nowhere

According to Matteo Moretto in one of his latest YouTube videos, Kirovski’s contract with the club will expire in June and as things stand, the talks over a renewal are ‘absolutely at a standstill’. Among other things, this is due to the poor sporting results of the Futuro side.

Milan need to make a decision on which path to take, as Moretto continues, as there has been quite a lot of change internally in the last few months. For example, Igli Tare has taken on a very big role and technical director Geoffrey Moncada remains as well.
