Partizan Belgrade are asking for around double what AC Milan have offered for Andrej Kostic, according to Matteo Moretto.
Moretto – in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel – gave an update on the negotiations between Milan and Partizan Belgrade for Kostic, an 18-year-old striker who is already scoring at senior level for them.
He confirms that it is true that there are negotiations between the two clubs, but that this is a deal that Milan see as being a reinforcement for the Futuro and not for the first team. If he does well, he could get a promotion, but initially he would play for the team challenging for Serie D promotion.
However, there’s quite a big gap between the two clubs on the valuation, because Milan do want to go above €4.5m as the transfer fee for the teenager, while Partizan are asking for more.
To be more specific, the Belgrade side asking for slightly less than €10m, but there’s still a gap between the two clubs given they want around double in order to give the green light to a mid-season sale.
We’ll see if Milan can bridge this gap, and if they can’t they’ll look for another promising striker for the Futuro, with a clear emphasis placed on adding a striker for Massimo Oddo.
