Javi Guerra will soon decide his future at Valencia, and AC Milan are reportedly still watching on attentively.

Samuele Ricci was the first midfield signing of the summer and it is expected that Luka Modric will become the second very soon, but it is obvious that the Milan management are also looking for at least one more signing to complete the department.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported yesterday that Ardon Jashari of Club Brugge is ‘one step away’ from joining the club in a deal worth over €30m. However, as has been previously reported by Matteo Moretto, this does not necessarily exclude further additions.

The latest on Guerra

Moretto has given an update on the future of Guerra during a segment on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel and he confirmed that Milan are still in the mix. His comments are via Radio Rossonera.

“In the next few days there will be an important meeting between those who manage Guerra’s interests and Valencia to understand if there will be the opportunity for a renewal , and if this cannot happen, the club will consider possible offers,” he said.

“I’ve been told for some time now that the figure is between 25 and 30 million, bonuses included. Milan are certainly interested, but only after this meeting will they understand the feasibility of the operation considering two factors.

“The first is the competition from a Spanish and an English team, and then the economic question, because Milan would reach 25 million including bonuses.”
