AC Milan are keeping negotiations for Ardon Jashari and Javi Guerra alive, according to a report, though there is optimism that a deal can be reached for the former.
It’s been made very clear that Igli Tare and Max Allegri have deemed the midfield insufficient, at least based on last season. The signings of Samuele Ricci and Luka Modric, as such, were two major steps in the right direction and now a third reinforcement could seal the deal.
Jashari has been linked with Milan for weeks now, with negotiations ongoing for roughly the same amount of time, and there have been few concrete developments lately. Therefore, Guerra is also being viewed as an option.
Offer stays the same
Speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s channel, Matteo Moretto made it clear that Milan haven’t raised their offer for Jashari. It remains €32.5m plus bonuses, though it’s possible that the player’s insistence could help break down the ‘Brugge wall’.

Seeing as an agreement is far from certain for the Swiss international, however, Milan are also keeping negotiations alive for Javi Guerra. The midfielder has received an official renewal offer from Valencia and he’s now evaluating it, but no decision has been made.
Jashari is still the priority and new contacts should take place with Brugge to see if there is an opening. Despite the meeting with his agent at Casa Milan yesterday, as such, there have been no concrete developments for now.
