It looks as though Silvano Vos’ proposed move away from AC Milan will not happen as the deal with Lausanne has fallen through.
Vos joined Milan from Ajax ahead of last season and although there was excitement to see how he might do, he struggled in a struggling team. Furthermore, the relegation to Serie D prompted the parties to look for a possible exit, given the fourth tier was not a part of the plans 12 months ago.
On Saturday, it was reported by Matteo Moretto that the 20-year-old was close to joining Lausanne on what would be a loan move. This was also reported by Daniele Longo, but after a couple of days of silence, some negative news has arrived.
Vos deal off
According to Matteo Moretto, Silvano Vos’ move to Lausanne has fallen through. Negotiations between Milan and the Swiss club for the Dutchman have fallen through.

The reason is that the gap between the two clubs financially – the loan fee and the salary portion that Lausanne would cover – is too big to be bridged and thus the operation cannot be completed.
It most likely means a summer move is off the cards, unless a club in a country where the window is still open steps forward to offer a solution.
