Napoli’s interest in the former AC Milan player Marco Brescianini could potentially spark a domino effect involving Yunus Musah and Adrien Rabiot, according to a report.
In addition to signing a striker, with Victor Boniface currently undergoing additional tests, Milan are also working on some sales. Musah has been linked with several clubs this summer but due to the high price tag, there has been no concrete movement just yet.
However, that could be about to change. Atalanta have made the most noise regarding Musah in the last few days and according to Matteo Moretto, their potential sale of Brescianini to Napoli could open up the matter before the window closes.
Domino effect on the cards?
As the journalist explains, Napoli are keen on securing Brescianini’s services this summer and if they were to reach an agreement with Atalanta, that would free up funds for the latter. Then, they could make an attempt to sign Musah from Milan.

In the event of a departure for Musah, the Rossoneri would assess the midfield options on the market. As per Moretto, Max Allegri is a great admirer of Rabiot and he’s set to leave Marseille this month, which could prompt Milan to make a move.
That being said, all of the pieces have to come together for any of the above to materialise. It’s a classic domino situation, which we often tend to see towards the end of the transfer windows.
