Sassuolo are currently in negotiations over the Milan outcast Yacine Adli, but according to a report, reaching an agreement appears more difficult than first expected.
Adli returned from his season-long loan at Fiorentina earlier this summer as La Viola opted not to trigger the buy-out clause. Since then, as the midfielder isn’t part of Max Allegri’s plans, Milan have been working on an exit.
As has often been the case with Adli, however, finding a new club is far from an easy task. The Frenchman loves everything about Milan and has often put that ahead of playing time, which means he’s also picky when evaluating a departure.
Sassuolo in talks with Adli
According to Matteo Moretto in his latest video, Sassuolo have expressed a concrete interest in the player and are currently in talks with him, as well as Milan, over a move. For the time being, however, Adli remains unconvinced about joining the newly-promoted side.

The negotiations will continue and the Neroverdi will do their best to convince the 25-year-old. That being said, there are no guarantees that the deal will be unblocked, as Fabio Grosso’s side could turn to other targets instead.
For Milan, there is a small capital gain to be made and although a loan deal of some sort might be accepted, it would probably have to be with an obligation to buy.
